Hi everyone!
Here is the latest update on Spencer Lute that we received from his mom.
Spencer had chemo and met with his Radiation Oncologist at Proton.
He was explaining the next phase of his radiation treatment. He will start
his tumor bed radiation Friday, July 20th. The spine and all over brain has been
the first 13 days, then the last 17 days will be just the tumor bed.
That’s what I’m the most worried about. The radiation beams that go to the brain
stem has serious side effects, so the next 3 weeks we will really need prayers.
It’s very scary that they will have it so close to the brain stem for 17 days trying to kill
the cancer cells. It has me so very worried. I know the Lord is with him
and I have faith, but as a Mama, I’m still scared.
Spencer is still being very brave and I’m so proud of him. Thank you to everyone that has
sent cards and care packages to hime. He loves receiving those so much!

Spencer and his family.
Spencer is a brave 11 year old boy that was just diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer at the end of 5th grade.
He finished 5th grade at Baggett Elementry School.
Spencer will start radiation and chemo injections in Jacksonville, Florida starting on July 1st and then will continue
chemotherapy for the next year here in Georgia at Scottish Rite Hospital.
We are hoping to raise funds for him and his family as they go through this difficult time.
